The past two wekends have been filled with lots of fun activities.

First, we had Kelly and Jason visitng from Seattle. We kept them busy with the zoo, Coronado, dinner at the Prado (compliments of Kelly and Jason), hiking Cowles Mountain (pronounced ‘coals’), Old Town, Seaport Village, Sunset Cliffs, Pipes Cafe, and the standard coastal driving tour from Encinitas to La Jolla.

Then this past weekend we had Kirk and Ripken go to the Padres game (father’s day gift from me). They took the trolley to the game, ate just about every piece of candy sold, ran into some friends, watched a little bit of the game and then headed home. Rip made it till about 10:45 and then passed out on the Trolley. Then Saturday night, Kirk and I went on our Photo Caravan Tour at the Wild Animal Park. Pretty cool stuff! Father’s day was spent mostly at home. Kirk got to sleep in. We had a nice eggs / bacon breakfast and then Kirk was off to softball.

I think next weekend we’ll slow it down a little…maybe just hit a park or two. Unless it’s nice and sunny, then we might have to go to the beach 🙂
